Title: BBC Dig In seeds
Post by: Flighty on May 02, 2009, 18:24:08
Mine finally arrived yesterday which is way too late for me to make use of them this year so would anyone like them?

There is one packet of each beetroot Boltardy, carrot Early Nantes, lettuce Lollo Rossa, butternut squash Hunter and tomato Gardener's Delight.

Kev because I've sorted out all the vegetables I'm growing this year and already have all the seeds, and more, that I need so I thought that perhaps someone could use them.

Keep them for next year. They should be perfectly all right.

Keep them in a drawer they wont take up a lot of room.

Little pud someone has asked for the butternet squash but you can have the other four if you want them. PM me if you do.

PurpleHeather if no one wants them that's what I'll do.

I've just got the seeds; I'm saving them for next year. My results in the past with butternut squash have always been so pathetic that I wouldn't even try planting them now!

I got my second lot of seeds today, five weeks after the first; the BBC distribution system is clearly shot, I only applied once.  ::)

I received mine about two weeks ago. I have put the squash and lettuce in, and I may use the carrots if I've enough space.

I received mine last week and it sounds like unlike everyone else I actually gave them to my children to plant!! They stuck the stickers all over the pots and will be happy just to see a green shoot appear! It was lovely seeing them poke their fingers in to make holes in the soil and pop the seeds in, really got them interested in growing things, which was the point I'm guessing.
