Title: Holly blue butterfly
Post by: Bjerreby on April 30, 2009, 18:53:03
It just goes to show what we can do if we put our minds to it! I have planted a good number of plants to attract wildlife, including dogwood and ivy. Today I saw a pair of holly blue butterflies in the garden, and their food plants are, guess what, dogwood and ivy!  :)

I've never seen them before in Denmark!

I am afraid the photo is one I found on the internet.............I couldn't get my camrea out in time to take a snap.................these holly blues flit about constantly. But I am 100% sure of my identification.  :)
