Title: Blueberry leaves being attacked by something!!
Post by: Angelah on April 29, 2009, 20:02:58
Just checking over the plants and have noticed several leaves have holes in them, looking closer a few of the new leaf buds are also curled over. Had a closer look but I couldn't see anything - I rubbed over the curled leaves anyway in the hope I might squish whatever it is causing the problem, hope I haven't damaged the leaves much more!
Any ideas of what it might be and what I should do would be very handy.
These are new to us this year, in pots of ericacieous (sp?) compost and until now have been doing extremely well, one has even had a fair few flowers on it, so we are complete novices with them!

At last, back online!! Well looking closer at the blueberrys, they seem to have some tiny spiders, in fluffy webs on them, I have squashed all the ones I can see, and the plant doesn't seem to be too bothered, so hopefully there will be no lasting damage! Can't wait to try some fresh from the garden!!
