When I lived in S Africa I had a game ranger for a neighbour. He being a very green "greenie" used wild animal dung on his garden. Never seen geraniums (pelargoniums?) that size before! Leaves the size of dinner plates! He swore by rhino dung!
Here in Northumberland I use free alpaca dung from a stud nearby, veggies last year were great (ditto weeds >:() and the Swiss Chard is still growing madly from last years sowing........ rhubarb just about ready to eat......... gooseberry bush loooks promising for a good crop.
Gen in Northumberland where I am just about to build an Ark!
It'll come in useful now the Summer has finished and the rain is back.... ;D
Spoke too soon Saddad!
Lovey sunny day now..... till later.
I have 4 fellas here trying to lay a new drive, yesterday rained off, today.....dont hold ya breath!
Gen in outer Northumberland
