Title: Exotic muck spreading!
Post by: genlistlass on April 29, 2009, 05:10:38
When I lived in S Africa I had a game ranger for a neighbour. He being a very green "greenie" used wild animal dung on his garden. Never seen geraniums (pelargoniums?) that size before! Leaves the size of dinner plates! He swore by rhino dung!

Here in Northumberland I use free alpaca dung from a stud nearby, veggies last year were great (ditto weeds >:() and the Swiss Chard is still growing madly from last years sowing........ rhubarb just about ready to eat......... gooseberry bush loooks promising for a good crop.

Gen in Northumberland where I am just about to build an Ark!
