Me to on sky. Really miss Monty and Alan :'(
It was alright, dirt mud & tractors or something, a bit thin but some cool footage... I'm too tight to get the garden channel...

Where's that, is it on Sky!!!!!
i watched Jimmy and the Wild Honey Hunters bbc 4
get the victorian kitchen garden DVD. Its my favourite.
I watched half of this and its been quite interesting.
Its more to do with changes in practice in fruit growing.
I liked the 1st half god knows when I'll see the rest of the recording.
I watched this I really enjoyed it. I had no idea how high tech some of it is now. Incredible. I did strawberry picking in the fields as a student - very hard work for very little money, no wonder the pickers liked the mechanised picking
Those posh gels at the horticultural college were fabulous. "No one has ever got engaged here!"
The college was excellent wasn't it, pigeonseed, I don't know which inner city those girls were recruited from ::) The picking was interesting - having weighed in around 20tonnes of Strawberries in my time (5 summers, 3 or 4 months at a time), I too thought the machine looked pretty cool! Although even most of the "field" people are under plastic in the farm I used to work on now...
I really loved the Wartime Kitchen Garden UKTV GARDENS on sky!! I could watch it over and over.
Duke :)
