Title: flowering rhubarb

Just been down lottie afer a couple of weeks to find a great big flower on my main plant.
cut it of at the base,does this mean its finished for the year or will i still get a few pulls!
First time this has happened in the 5 years ive been on site,what could be the reason?

Don't worry, as long as you keep removing any flower stems you're OK. If it's strong enough to flower, there's probably going to be plenty more to pull.

Mine has all flowered very early this year too- guess it's thewarm weather. I've just been cutting them off as far down as possible.
