Title: Blog builder - advice wanted please
Post by: carrot-cruncher on April 25, 2009, 10:27:12
I fancy having another go at keeping a blog but am put off by the look of some of them that I've checked out.   Some seem to go & on without a break & there's no sort of filing system i.e. I could put all entries under 2009 then move them to a link when 2010 starts.

Others I've looked at don't seem to have many pics (if any) & I would prefer to include lots of pics/diagrams on my blog.

My internet provider is currently BT Yahoo & apparently it comes with my own personnal webspace (?) but I don't know how to access/find it or what I can/can't do with it.   Is it something I can amend myself in place of a blog or something I can use like a website?

All advice gratefully received (preferably in simple language) 'cos I am a bit of a luddite when it comes to computers & computing.

I use blogger.com and picassa to get lots of photos on line in a nice format.  Well I think it's nice.
You can upload all your photos and then slideshow them in your blogger account.  Both are run by google so they fit together well..

Have a look at http://www.barriedaleallotments.org.uk (http://www.barriedaleallotments.org.uk) and see if it fits with what you want to do
