Title: Compostable toilets
Post by: fuchsia on April 24, 2009, 20:53:44
Hi All

Need some help. Our allotment can`t afford to purchase a complete compostable toilet but what we have is lots of volunteers who will help to build one with materials begged, borrowed and stolen lol. What I need is a set of plans to be able to build one. The plans need to be the one for a twin vault and urine separating box.
If this has been covered somewhere else on the site please let me know.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Stressed out secretary !!

This is ours built from recycled materials by plotholders.

The chap who ran the build for us did it from a book - Amazon has some.  Also there is stuff on the Allotment Regeneration Initiative website here:

These people (http://www.natsol.co.uk/) sell the complete thing, but they also sell the basics and the site completes the installation.  Seems they've installed quite a few on allotments.
