Title: JCB Rotavator Spares
Post by: Barbara V on April 23, 2009, 21:55:07
Does anyone know where I can buy a new cable for my JCB 3hp rotavator?  I've tried the local mower shops and tried to do a search on the internet but have had no joy.   >:(
If you have any suggestions please help.

What cable is it? Throttle?
Search for local motor (car spare shops) factors, they'll tell you where you can get one made up, shouldn't cost a lot!

Try phoning this chap: http://www.mdr.co.uk/tillerparts/tillerparts.html

He's not too far from you, either

Thanks for all your suggestions.  We're off to Beaver Batteries to see what they can do.  We bought it second hand several years ago and don't know where it was bought when new.  I thought JCB had fallen on hard times and so never thought of phoning them.  I didn't know Chester Hudson did anything but Howard Gems and the like.  We bought some spares off him a while ago when we ran a large rotavator.
Many thanks once more.
