Title: Aroma
Post by: Eristic on April 22, 2009, 00:30:37
Having been overcome by sunshine I decided to have the afternoon off work and skived up to the plot. The single row of wallflowers shown in the pic filled the air with scent for a distance of 50-60 yards.

Lucky you  :) I hope to do the same myself this afternoon...

It's wonderful to smell spring in the air isn't it?  I made sure when planting up my garden at home that the majority of plants were scented as I think there is little more evocative than the smell of them lingering in the air; be it spring or summer and as for the smell of Autumn....gorgeous!

I grew on a line of wallflower in pots, that were spare after the sales last year, they are alongside the big greenhouse... I haven't got much sense of smell but you certainly know they are there...  ;D
