Post by: phoenix_co2 on April 20, 2009, 21:10:01
Weathers been really nice these past few days so ive been  putting some of my tomato plants outside for some sun and fresh air during the day, unfortunately tonight when i went to bring them back in i noticed that a couple of them aren't looking too healthy, anyone shed some light on the problem please???

The white bits look like the leaves might be scorched by the sun if they were wet when you put them out.

looks like sun scorch to me i asked the same question not so long ago. The leaves on yours look like mine did and they are doing great. They are  10-12 inch's tall now and you can still see the whitening on the leaves that were affected. The new growth is lovely and green so i have put it down to the the sun scorching the leaves as i did the same put them out when it was lovely and sunny.  ;D
