Title: Identify this plant pleeeeeeeeeeeeease

This is a  daft question..... what is this ground cover that rampages over stone garden walls at this time of the year, it seems mainly bright vivid PURLPLE. Gorgeous and I want some!

Gen in Northumberland where we have had TWO lovely days one after the other...aren't we lucky?

I know exactly the one you mean and each and every year I admire it. I love it and would love some myself but dont know what it is either.  ;D

Thats the one, I had mombretia stuck in my head (thats NOT it) so I was nearly right....... ;D

Will have to buy two, one for the back and one for the front.........looks like once you have it, it sticks around?

Slugs love hiding under that thick carpet of leaves... (Montbretia's orange!!)  ;D

Its lovely mixed with Arabis caucasica  which is white and has a lovely scent :)
