I went to LIDL's today and got two compost bins, they were cheaper than the Local Authority subsidised ones. LIDL's 360litre £19.99, LA 330litre £23 + £5 delivery.

I think the tomato and pepper plants are a bit overpriced, they must be forced if they have fruit on  :o
ours are only £1.00 each  ;D

I'm gobsmacked at the price of tomato and pepper plants. :o And Lidl are generally cheaper than most other places, so I can't even imagine how much garden centres charge for theirs.

I wonder if I can manage to get a contract supplying shops next year. I'll sell them plants for three quid, they can sell them for a fiver.  Everyone's happy.  Especially me.  ;D

But when I think how many I gave away last year, for nottin'. I could cry.  :D

Our County Council gives out free compost bins. Just ask, they are delivered to your home.

The seeds from peppers can be grown and do grow.

Same with butter-nut squash  and loads of things.

Stop wasting your money. Buy the fruit use the seeds.
