Title: Under narrow staging?
Post by: Hector on April 19, 2009, 15:31:49
I have some narrow staging, so still a fair bit of light below it, do you think I would get away with growing landcress t
underneath? Any other suggestions welcome :)

It's a prolific self seeder, so I wouldn't want any under my staging... not sure how it would stand up to poorer light levels.. have you considered purslane or even lamsb lettuce...  :)

Saddad, that's super. I sowed some Purslane earlier but wasn't sure if it would need more light. I am very fond of it in salads, so will stick with that. My husband also wondered if chard would cope?

How about growing mung beans into bean shoots, it only takes a few days.
