I am a seedoholic. Seems there are others with this addiction.
I really like to grow different varieties of courgettes. Does any one have anything unusual. I particularly like cousa types. Aready have clarita, magda and trieste. I have lots of types of climbing french beans to offer as well as several types of pumpkins, various courgettes and blue hubbard squash.
Hi. I've all green bush, black beauty & cococelle tripolis. Any use to you?
Janet
cococelle tripolis this sound interesting what is it like? What would you like? Purple popped peas nice, and Lungo Biancoand Trompeto D'albenga squash/courgettes good.
Sorry DD. I only got it this year but liked the sound of it. Girl thing I suppose! Do you have the climber Black Forest by any chance? If so a couple of those would be nice as I only have 2 & it would be insurance in case they failed & a blue hubbard squash if that's OK. How many would you like. Is the squash a rampant one?
Janet
Sorry no Black forest, tried it a few years ago was not impressed. Trompeto d'albenga is a climber
and rampant long trumpet shaped fruit. If you stand still long enough it will be up your legs!!! Very few seeds in fruit so makes a nice courgette. I grow them up an apple tree. Have seen them in Italy dangling down from a pergola. Lies a warm summer. I also grow lungo bianco that seems to produce when all else gives up in the rain. May also have some Fiorentina if you want something really rampant!!!
Have not tried blue hubbard squash but from the size of the seeds it is no dwarf.
If you email me your address I will send you some seeds and will email you my address since yours is hidden. I've opened a new yahoo email address if you click on my handle you will be able to see this email address.
I don't really want rampant as we only have a 1/2 plot. I thought a climbing courgette would save some room. Let me know how many seeds you would like & as a fellow seedaholic if there is anything else you would like, looking at the dining table I might have it :-[.
Janet
I will send you a selection if you would do the same. I like anything unusual particuarly climing beans.
