Were the crosses slashed into the buns or made of flour&water paste, etc. Tim?

Did you hand-make or start the dough off in a bread maker?

Is it worth (spect I know the answer here, but heck! I'll ask anyway..) making ones own mixed spice?

and why oh why didn't I even have ONE last Friday? I really love them... :'(

Having tried them out on both branches of the Family - with some acclaim - I have to say that, whereas Tesco & Co-op buns are hollowly squidgy inside, these do have some substance.

Thanks, Delia. Again!!

We crossed.

1. Slashed - gently!

2. Hand only. I have the time.

3. Can't say it's better, but just love freshly ground spices. And you choose your own.
