Title: Hardening off brassicas
Post by: caroline7758 on April 15, 2009, 13:46:16
I have got cabbage, calabrese and sprouts hardening off (in cold greenhouse overnight, outside during the day). I startedhardening off 6 days ago but now realiseI won't be around for a coupleof days from tomorrow and can't guarantee the kids will remember. Do you think I'll be ok to leave them out?

I've also got some globe artichokes with them- are they less or more hardy?

Should be fine if they've had a week of the in-out treatment...  :)

My Primo cabbage,  Arcadia calabrese and Parthenon calabrese have been outside in their final position for a week now.  They are doing fine.  Successional sowings are underway ;)
