Carol and Steve (CARSTE) who recently joined this group and who are plot neighbours to Tony and myself are going through a very stressful time. Carol has to go into hospital tomorrow for an operation to remove a tumour that is affecting her sight.They only found out a couple of weeks ago what it was so one can only imagine how they both feel. I am sure that you will join with me in wishing them well.
My thoughts are with them.
My wife has recently had a cataract operation and a friend had a brain tumour removed.
Carol & Steve, sending best wishes and positive thoughts for a good outcome and speedy recovery. Hope you'll be back on your plot and posting here very soon. {{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}
hope everything goes well, take care :)

From me, too, exact same message :-*
From experience, I know today's going to be a long day for you but once you're in hospital tomorrow knowing that a good team are going to get rid of the nasties and repair you, that'll be a good thing. We really
do have a good NHS team of surgeons, expertise, etc.
I'm sure that Shirl or Steve will tell us how you're getting on and I look forward to hearing that.
Again, all the very very best for tomorrow, your stay in hospital and convalescence.

so glad, shirley, just a matter of time, now :)
Good news! 8) and hope the tlc does the trick & Carol makes a full recovery.
Hi everyone
just a quick update to let you know that Carol got home from hospital this evening. It is a month of recovery now and then the radiotherapy will start, will have to go back in a few weeks to find out exactly how much of the tumour has been removed and how many sessions of radiotherapy are needed.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for the kind messages and good wishes that you have sent during this difficult time for us. I do not post very often but I look at the posts regularly and it is a pleasure to be be part of a forum with such caring people.
Once again thank you to you all.
Steve & Carol
