there are quite a lot of clay bits on our plot, I dunno about balls, you could make house bricks  ;D

Evidently the name is derived from Doro (mud) and Dango(rice dumplings). Now if we could make them out of potting compost... ;)
How about 'polished root balls'? Something to do with all the extra plants you've grown on that you don't have room for!

ive been cheacking out the History of were i live
back in 1930ish  were my allotment is now it used to be a brick yard alot of the clay has been dug out and used to make bricks .

apparently, so i have found out my clay is of the highest quality . maybe just maybe the clay from my area has made bricks that was used to build your house
