This beauty spent a good 5 minutes hunting on the ground, under a Berberis before a magpie scared it off.

fantastic shot i had one hit my living room window and by the time i got my camera it had flown off.

Great pic Eric!

I saw my very first sparrowhawk in the garden just two days ago and was honoured to see it, she was selecting lunch and almost suceeded in taking a blackbird but it got away just in time.
