Yes was reading somewhere that actually its better to rush to get the maincrop in, even ahead of the earlies, in an effort to get a decent crop before the late blight.

That said, Metcheck are forecasting lows of between 0 and 2 degrees C for us in Surrey over the next week.

500 babies-and only two parafin heaters and some fleece-we are prepared ;D

Is tomato growing an illness?-I`m OK with high BP ,Cholesterol and Diabetes -but I do get worried when frost gets near

I don't like tomatoes much.

I love plums, damsons and greengages and the frost stopped mine dead last year.

Bit early to show isn't it Tim? I read that frost damaged tatties never recover properly. Might not be true.
