Post by: little pud on March 30, 2009, 18:00:10
Hi all, back again. is there a way to start swedes off as I never seem to have much luck with them, have read on here that you can 'chit' parsnips, can the same be done with swedes?  ::)

My swedes grow like weeds anyways!!!
Sow them into modules in a seed tray, 2 per space, then pinch one out...

Transplant when 'big enough', and puddle in...

Has always worked for me....  :)

Set mine away in a seed tray then pot them into cups but being very carefull not to damage the tap root on transplanting.
