Just looked it up on the internet and it is called Joe's allotment out 2 April, not 1 April (not a joke book). It will be of interest to me, I think, but probably not many people here as it is for beginners, how he approached the Council and etc. etc. I will probably buy it cheap from Tesco on line as apparently it has photographs of some of the people I know on the site. He does seem keen to keep his allotment although it is not obviously as good as ones that people have had for years and years and still looks a bit bare but he did really do it from stratch. I think he has got the bug as looked disappointed on Sunday when he had to go home as his wife had cooked him dinner and he still had a lot to do. Think he is quite an average decent bloke.
Can't you get a discount as a fellow plotholder? ;D
Ken, who is meant to be in it got a free copy, I will have a look at his before I buy. Might get Joe to sign one for me if I buy it, but I am a bit embarrassed but perhaps he would be flattered.
how many pages as it got. ::)
Sorry, don't know, will let you know what it is like when I buy or borrow it, or have a quick glance through in Smiths. Not out until 2 April.

It's £10 + £2.74 P+P from tesco online, amazon are selling it for £10.79 with free delivery & if you bought it from amazon via the shop link on this site then Dan would get a small percentage which would go towards the running costs of this forum.
Froglegs it's 224 pages according to amazon.
