Which squash types will you be growing this Season?
Which varieties will you be growing?
Are they winter or summer squashes?
summer squash
Courgette Tromboncino albenga (Swan Neck (climbing))
winter squash (i think - those are the ones with hard skins that can store aren't they?)
Uchiki Kuri
Turk's Turban
Acorn Table Ace
Sweet Dumpling
I grow in my garden as i'm between allotments and the squashes go upwards rather than sprawling.
A mix of both including Crown Prince, Etampes, Triamble, Choggia..... :)
None! What about you TGG?
Courgette -
Defender
Cocozelle
Rugosa Friulana (grew this last year and loved it - www.seedsofitaly.co.uk )
Verde scuro di Milano
Zuboda
Striato d'Italia
Squash/Pumpkin
Atlantic Giant
Sumo both for the 'Giant Pumpkin' competition at the allotments
Zucca Violina
Zucca lunga piena di Napoli
Zucca Tonda Padana
Butternuts - various varieties
Tromba d'Albenga
I'm trying to limit myself to only these this year.
Squash64 Cocozelle are not courgettes since they are separate squash group. they are also not marrows.
Size i not the determing factor.
Squash64 Cocozelle is considered to be a fine courgette despite what certain others may think!

You've grown it, have you TGG?
Rubbish NEXTGridGardener.
to everyone else I will say this..
Cocozelle are Italian vegetable marrow, used as a zuchinni when picked immature..as are our own marrows/courgettes.
The term zuchinni and courgette are used side by side in most countries,
Cocozelle IS THE SAME family as most summersquash including zuchinnis and marrows, the family being "pepo"
Carry on as you are doing nextgridgardener as he is calling himself this time is not quoting you accurately.
XX Enjoy them, they are good XX Jeannine
