Went to the pound shop and spent £5 on seeds/plants. Amazed at how cheap they were, lets see if they grow.
I found the vultures had picked over our poundland before I got there...

The pound shop is expensive round here £1 a pack or 6 for a £5 mind you there are four varieties in a lot of packs.
19p a pack of singles at Netto and my pack of broad beans with 28 in it have given a 100% success on turning into green things which are growing.
I refuse to count the little seeds but there are plenty and there are babies coming to life daily.
Dahlia seed pack for 19p have so far burst into 20 babies and if they are as good as the results last year and the year before ( all from Netto) I will be happy.
I potted on 40 Cosmos gave as many to a friend, who gave me some tomato plants. I had shared the original pack with the bloke who gave me 12 strawberry plants.
