I'm grinning from ear to ear...

I've had the best Mother's Day Gift EVER

Our youngest son Oliver and his girlfriend Michelle presented us with the best gift ever...

Our first Grandchild....William Mathew <<named after our eldest son Mathew...At 03:31pm today March 22nd a lovely healthy 7lbs 6oz boy.

I'll be buying him his first wheelbarrow and trowel soon  ;D  ;D  ;D

Aww thank-you..... we've been to see him already and he is beautiful (all grandparents say that)  ;D  ;D  ;D.

We left him in his Dad's arms being rocked to sleep...he'd been awake since he was born, seven hours.

Cannot wait for him to come home and have a longer cuddle  :D

I have to say, Mother's Day this year was a particularly busy one for midwives! I was on nights and finished at 8 am this morning, and the labour ward had been full all night! ;D

I spent my Mothers Day in bed asleep as a result.... ::) ;D
