I want to protect some of my chillies and peppers from cross-pollination using a barrier (not enough space for the distance approach).
Any suggestions? Is net curtain a fine enough to use?
Probably... but i'd use the environmesh stuff myself... :-\
I thought net would be easier to sew - not my greatest skill..... :)
hi Barnowl
I use voile sewn into bag type things. :)

Isn't voile the same as curtain net?
Some time back I bought 5m of tubular fleece which can be cut to the required length and tied at the top of supporting canes over plants. Got it at Lidl if I remember correctly. Perhaps there are other suppliers? Try Googling.

Thanks Tricia - will check it out
Why bother making a chamber use tulle! easy to find and as cheap as chips and fine enough to stop cross pollination. You can also cover multiple pods.
Voile? Tulle?? It'll be sequins next .................
Thanks Biscombe :)
Hehehehe!! and why not ;) ;D
