Has anyone got a few seeds they would be willing to send?
I've not seen any packets in the usual places and would like to try growing it.
Have got loads of seeds so if you want a swap, let me know what type of seed you are after.
Becky
I got mine from Wilkies. They have them in their posh Johnsons range. Sowed mine and everyone came up
Aren't there hundreds in a packet Shirl... tell me you didn't plant the whole packet.... ::)
Dear o dear, I remember a certain person boasting he had lots of rooted jostaberry cuttings and when I asked if could I do a swap and pay postage, was told I could buy one from him, and that was on Swap Shop, and now he is ribbing Shirlton
:-* to you too Petengade...
I have another batch of Jostaberry cuttings if you still want one...
I do try to raise money for our site and the NGS...
If I was off-handed with you I was probably having a bad day.
Sorry.
:)
Coincidentally I was going to Wilkinsons anyway (to get more bathroom paint so I could finish painting the loo walls). I had a look and they have got a selection of Johnsons seeds but only one range - not sure if there were 2 tiers of Johnsons seeds in other shops... anyway I'm afraid they didn't have any romanesco - a couple of other types of broccoli that I think I've already got.
Anyone got a few spare seeds?

Actually there are 250 seeds in a packet Sadad. I sow for myself and my daughters and some for the allotment shed. The seeds are viable until 2011.
Fair enough... do you always sell out of brassicas? We never seem to do enough for our sale day........ :-\
We have only had the shop open for a week so don't really know how its gonna go. Shan't bother sowing any ord veg just thought something different may go down well. We also have a load of new folks this year and I'm sure that they will be glad of something thats already growing that they can just plant. Most of these are young people with familys who don't get much time to look after seedlings (unlike us retired folks)
Where is the shop / when is it open? My boyfriend (that makes him sound much younger than he is) lives in Erdington.
At the moment we are in the process of deciding wether or not to open the shop to the public. If we do then we have to pay dues every year. If we dont then it is a one off. Early days as yet. Where in Erdigton doees your friend live Becky
