Title: Spring is here.

Pipistreles have been flying on the plot most of this week so the winter is now finished.

The bees have been out on the willow two days out of the last three. Winter is definitely over, but it's still early spring yet!

The ants have started crawling out of the pots I'd put in the porch over winter!!! Yuck. Pots are now in the garden, hopefully going to get watered soon ... the only advantage of the rain coming.

On a positive note, I've got crocus, daffs and some little blue flowers up in the garden (may be chinodoxa?). The broccoli and cabbage are just showing the first 2 leaves in my seedling trays in the mini greenhouse.

... and the birds are waking me up at an ungodly hour each day.

Only saw one butterfly today and that was a comma. Lots of bats at dusk.
