After all the freebie seeds recieved .i was wondering if i can use kale as a green manure?
not a lot of interest on our plot for kale as its thought of as bitter and cattle food

I had some on sunday, its a lot nicer to eat than I thought. will be getting it again.

You can also use it as young salad leaves. We use it like that but also grow it bigger and stir fry it with bacon, onions, garlic (like delia Smith recipe Cabbage and bacon)

Cattle food? Oh, No!!

Can be so sweet & tangy raw, & flavoursome cooked.

I've got a bearded dragon lizard, so grow kale for it to eat... normally put some in the greenhouse over the winter for an all year round supply... never eaten it myself though.   :-\
