After weeks of of miserable wheather,

i finally got the onion sets in yesterday,

200 turbo.
100 sturon
100 red baron.
never grown reds before,do they keep well?
i bet some of you are thinking mines been in weeks. ;D ;D

we always get the worst of the wheather in s York's 8) 8)

I've found reds keep just as well as white.

I found that that reds keep just as good as whites, I still have a few hanging in my garage

I'd have held back on planting the reds for another couple of weeks, they are prone to bolting if planted before the equinox. ;)

Oh dear, planted mine last week. I've got some seed on the go too, though, so maybe I'll be ok!

Aren't you lot worried about bad weather frosts i heard snow this week. Im going to wait couple of weeks before i get anything in.
