Bottom one looks like a helibore/hellebore, not 100% sure on the spelling.
The third picture you have, the shoots, I have had tons pop up all over my garden, I assumed they were weeds...hope I wasnt wrong :( But never noticed them last year at all.... they just recently popping up everywhere!.

Thats the only one I took a guess at. I have another which is greenish on the flowers and I read they could be purples/greens/whites
The bottom one is surely a Hellebore. I hardly ever get round to it, but they do look better if you trim back the old leaves around Christmas.
The last one GREEN leaves is certainly a Helliborus, Lovely lucky you. ;D

Fab, they are in a really shaded place but seem ok! I'll try get some more pics when they have opened out and dried a bit! One day my ground will not be wet :o
No idea about the seed pods, I had some last year from the year before, not like those but there were loads of seeds.
I spread them in a large tub and just let them grow. It was a lovely display of golden flowers in the tub.
Anymore ideas?
Are the young shoots scented at all? I don't believe they are but just thought could they be mint? The tree, an evergreen, a conifer I assume, as for variety, I am useless with them, a close up of the foliage would be a help to the experts on evergreens.
I have no idea on the pods.....they look more like snail shells than seed pods!
The green shoots look like a succelent of some kind. The latter pic is definately hellebore.
The green shoots look a bit like sedum when it first comes through?
The tree looks like Cupressus macrocarpa or Monterey Cypress..known in NZ as Macrocarpa and grown every there as hedging it's NZ's 'Leylandii'. Some idiot plants a hedge of it and causes problems when it grows out of control or the next person moves in and has the impossible task of removing it. Nothing grows around it.
The green shoots look really familiar but i can't remember what...maybe Euphorbia?
pixie,
1) Snowdrop bulbs?
2) Get rid.
3) Don't know, but if it developes a yellow flower - keep it/doesn't last long though!
4) Peony shoots?
5) Hellibore - if it's the one that gives you a rash from the sap - get rid. It'll spread everywhere
