I,m trying to get some allotments ner  our village, I have submitted 18 name of parishioners who want allotments, can anyone help me put pressure on our parish council to provide them, thanks, FRANCO

Franco, I was in a similiar position myself. There was nowhere to grow vegetables in our village so I wrote to a local councillor who mentioned it at a local parish council meeting. Luckily for me a local newspaper reporter was there who published a story pleading for land for me to grow vegetables. I had about 10 people contact me offering land, now I have a large garden with a greenhouse. I'M  busily clearing it at the moment. Get in touch with the local newspaper also attend any seed swaps in your area where there might be people who will support/help you.
