Title: Celery success?
Post by: PurpleHeather on February 27, 2009, 04:36:47
I know loads of people who have tried to grow it. None have produced the long crunchy stalks fit to eat raw though.

They get stuff to add to soups and casseroles for flavour, claiming it to be a success but I mean has any one grown something which they could say was as good as the stuff in the shops?

If so, please give me all the details of how it should be done.

Grown it once - never growing it again.  Decided this is one thing they do better commercially than I can bearing in mind the effort it takes.
