Title: Office 2007
Post by: lottie lou on February 17, 2009, 20:31:15
Does anyone have Microsoft Office 2007?  I find it is a crack up programme.  In excel it won't let me insert cells or rows between two lines of figures.

In word it won't let me change the defaul to the font or line spacing I want.

Can anyone give me advice?

Thanks

Why not give Open Office a go, it won't cost you anything and you can always remove it if it's not suitable. I' ve used it for years and it's predecessor, Star Office.

Could it be a virus?

You can download Open Office from http://www.openoffice.org (http://www.openoffice.org)

It does exactly the same as 'real' office, but it's written by people who support free software.
I've been using it for a year with no problems.

When saving a document, use the 'save as' scroll down bit below the filename to save it as a 'microsoft' document, otherwise it will use it's own format.
