Title: Can this be done?
Post by: davee52uk on February 16, 2009, 17:24:47
I have a petrol drive mower - it has a blade that revolves horizontally and grass goes to a hopper behind the blade. What I want is something to shred small plants such as comfrey and very thin twigs. Would it be possible to feed the stuff through the top so that it goes out of the bottom?

I think i know what you mean, but can't help you :) someone had a video clip on youtube for converting a petrol strimmer into a shredder so i should think you would be able to do it.

Keep us updated with your progress and pictures.
