I sowed my first batch in my heated propagator on the 10th Feb and some of them are up already.
Going to start mine this week
Probably will as well, it being half term... ::)
I sowed mine yesterday in pots covered with plastic bags on the kitchen windowsill.

Sowed Peppers, Chillis, Aubergines and Tomatoes in heated propagators at the weekend. Greenhouse is still too cold so they're indoors at the moment.
Planted my De Cayenne in 3 inch pots on 21st Jan and put them on the spare bedroom windowsill, they were through on the 1st Feb, will be indoors for a while yet.
I started some Scotch Bonnets and Habaneros of at the end of November, and then had sown the rest in batches with the last batch been sown mid-January. All in a heated Vitopod in th unheated greenhouse. Going brilliantly so far.
Here are some pics I took at the end of January, but they have all grown well since then.

Your chillies are looking great Adrian!
Mine have just been sown - growing Hot Cayenne, Green Outdoor & a Thai variety :)
Lovely strong plants there. I have started sowing - about 10 varieties so far. Still have a few more to get done so this half term, you know where I will be. ;D

I must admit I'm surprised how well they are doing. So many people seem to start them of early but under Flouro lights indoors, but I think I'm showing that a greenhouse (even through winter) will provide enough light if you can give them heat from a propagater.
I have the following varieties growing:
Apache
Black Hungarian
Brazilian Starfish
Bulgarian Carrot
Cherry Bomb
Chinese Five Color
Habanero Orange
Hot Lemon
Hungarian Hot Wax
Jalapeno Early
Joe's Long Cayenne
Numex Twilight
Scotch Bonnet Red
Super Chilli
Let me know what varieties you have/are going to sow.
Here's a piccy of last years Orange Habanero that I'm overwintering.

Sowed Peppers, Chillis, Aubergines and Tomatoes on the 12th of feb in conservatory no sign of them as yet.
Not yet... trying to convince OH to take a break from decorating the front bedroom tomorrow so we can get a big sowing done... :)
I potted up my first batch yesterday (33 plants) and sowed the 2nd batch too (another 15 or so varieties).
Excuse my potential ignorance, but is there another kind of Scotch Bonnet? I have only seen the Jamaican one, which of course comes as red, gold and green. :-\ I am trying (again) to grow this as it is such a pretty little bush. Would like try others, if available.
Going to have to re-sow some: some are too spindly, others haven't germinated.

I sowed a sweet pepper mini mix in the propagator on 1st March and they have appeared (just) already! ;D (And tumbling cherry Toms)
Still not got them going here, but have got propagator out of the loft... ;D
Of the two types I sowed on 15 Feb, Chilli Trifetti (saved seed) are up and nice and sturdy but no sign yet of 'Pretty in Purple' which a kind member here sent to me. Perhaps these take longer to germinate? Conditions are identical.

Sowed my chillies and peppers yesterday, no point in doing them sooner as only have a cold greenhouse to grow them on in! ;D
Got on with your "dissertation" then I see.... ::)
Have sown praire fire, tongues of fire, ring of fire, bhut jolokia and peppadew last weekend and most have germinated already.
Thought I'd give you a quick update. Have given away a lot of spare plants to family and friends and I'm now done to my 'keepers'.
All still in the propogator in the greenhouse, with Apache, Black Hungarian and Brazilian Starfish pushing at the lid on the double-height Vitopod. May have to take off and leave off the lid within the next week or two.
Prop is turned down to 15C just to keep the chill off at night.
A few flower buds appearing on the Black Hungarian, Super Chilli, Hot Wax and Cherry Bomb.

I found an old stash of 30+ varieties, i've sown 24 of them today.
Some packets only had one seed in and they are a couple of years old,
so hopefully they'll all come up.
I won't list them all though.
Not yet, but another packet (Carribean Blend) threw themsleves into my trolley as I went round Sainsbo's today...
Adrian, I'm going to have to sulk... :P
Got Elephant's Trunk and Aurora all sprouting nicely but Joe's Long being very tardy. All on a window sill.
Peruvean Purple, Orange Habanero and Twilight all growing nicely now. Planted about 3 weeks ago. I planted the second round of seeds last weekend and no signs yet, but I think it was about 8/9 days for the last lot to start showing.
We're gonna have more Chilli's than we know what to do with this year lol

Not yet, but as soon as the 37 varities of Tomato are through.... ;D
My peppers are all up, chillies lagging behind a bit though...... :-\
Planted 5 each of 7 types on Friday - I always go overboard! I also have a Dorset Naga overwintered from last year which looks to be sprouting nicely now too. Will prob also sow another Naga too - just to keep it company!
My first chillis are setting :D
Got 5 or 6 on my overwintered Habanero Orange, and one on my Cherry Bomb so far. I can see I'm not going to have to buy chillis from around May... excellent!
Saddad - I did "Carribean blend" last year and have sown another 10 this year (5 up so far). They are a mix of small hot red ones, big long ox-horn peppers (not hot) and medium sized yellow ones if last years 6 plants are anything to go by.
This year I've also set a few of the freebie gardeners world catalogue ones - Cayenne.
Adrian - did you ever get your electric bill !? :o ;D
I only got Chilli types in mine, Pippy... made a good chilli powder though...
???
Sowed 4 of each of Hot Cayenne, Hot Thai and Nigels Outdoor Green, and all have come through and are now potted on and showing their 4 leaves off proudly on a nice sunny windowsill. YEAH ;D
6 x Lantern, 7 x Bolivian Rainbow and 6 x Cayenne for me is all this year. Lemon Drop have all failed (saved seed). :(
I've sown 200 varieties this year, 400 plants in total including my second batch :o
I must be mad.
Oh yeah and i've got loads of seeds left if anybody wants any. Just ask ;D
Fantastic twang! how many years you been growing?
