All depends on wether you want eaters (granny smith) or cookers(bramley)

All them apple pies got to be the Bramley,plus the original lives just up the road from me in Southwell,and it's 200 years old this year i wonder how many pies that is.

I suppose your choice is because you are buying cheap trees.  But for the best of both worlds get a Howgate Wonder.

Good eater and a very big cooker. One tree.
