Title: sd card reader at poundland

visit to poundland.....bought a USB-2  secure didgital card reader for my didgital camera ....works perfect
looked on the net   £15.99 for same thing   ;D

I assume you mean one of these which are compatible with SD/SDHC/MMC/RS-MMC.

They are available from £0.58 if you shop around. These cheap ones tend to overheat regularly & the write protect switch mechanism is badly designed resulting in frequent errors while transferring data.

my son has had his for a year..no probs as yet

If you have a digital camera, you already have a card reader when it is connected to your pc.

http://www.bigpockets.co.uk & http://svp.co.uk have them at that price fairly regularly although they tend to sell out quickly.
http://www.awanplc.co.uk has them cheaper still but they are trade only.

I use one of the poundland ones, it saves the batteries in your camera (by not having to plug in/ switch on) also saves time, no transfer problems so far (used for over a year) ;)
