Homemade Minestrone......lovely!
OK I know it's easy to make your own soup but here's an idea for quickness. The supermarket carton and container soups are lovely but to add extra nutrition and flavour cook extra vegetables (and pasta or rice if desired) first in a little water before adding the soup and warming up. (Don't drain the water used to cook veg, etc. It will add to the taste and make the soup go further.)
Add cooked meat/fish or grated cheese and you have a lovely quick meal.
Welcome to the site Valann... if you are a Newbie... that Avatar looks remarkably familiar... ::)
I'm a newbie OK, following in the steps of hubby Robinaber. Just chose the Avatar from those on the site as I like Bob Marley! Will change it at a later date when I can find a suitable one.
