I had my driving test canceled today even tho all the snow had melted i had a lesson last night in light snow fall but no problems and had a lesson before the test again with no problems because nearly all the snow had melted i did numerous emergency stops and did not skid once but when we got to the test center at 13.30 they said all test had been canceled due to the weather ( which was fine dry and sunny).
Now have to wait again and have to spend more money still having lessons so i dont get rusy. :'(
Sounds like an excuse to me. The whole country stops at a couple of flakes of snow!! I used to walk 2 1/2 miles to school in rain, hail, sun, and deep snow.
Nanny state producing a bunch of wusses >:(
All that H&S bull, let me have my childhood back with scraped knees, bruised fingers from conker fights and gawd knows what else........oh yes I remember.......its called freedom.
How frustrating! Hope you get another test soon- and good luck!
Fingers crossed you'll get a cancellation soon ;) ;) ;)
My daughters taking hers next wednesday,so keeping my fingers crossed that the weather will be changed

I sat my driving test on 28th January 1966 on icy roads with lots of snow lying as well. Allowances were made for the road conditions and I naturally took it easy and PASSED.
