I joined photobucket last night cos I'm fed up with only being able to put thumbnails on here. Have yet to get it all sussed out. Will take a long time for me cos as far as computers are concerned I am thick ::)

Underneath each image on Photobucket (PB) there are four boxes. The bottom one is labelled IMG CODE. If you move your Mouse pointer over the words in that box and Right click it should turn blue. While it is still blue EITHER go to the top of your Screen (IN Internet Explorer) and Click on EDIT. Then Click on Copy, OR Control C . Then go to A4A and use EITHER EDIT Paste  or Control V.
Repeat this for each picture you wish to copy.
It rather sounds as if you are not managing to clear the previous Copy sequence.
To check on this Open Wordpad and use Ctrl V to see what comes up. Then try Ctrl+ X to delete what is in the Edit selection and try again to copy a different picture.

If you cannot see the 4 lines in PB then use your mouse pointer to go to Link options (under each picture) and find the little box marked Always next to the words Show links in my albums. Put a tick in it and Exit.

Sorry it should be LEFT click where I have changed it to Red.

The box contains something like this [IMG]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v172/Berghill/105.gif[/IMG  and that is what you are trying to copy.

So your message would read for example. Here is a small animated cat [IMG]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v172/Berghill/105.gif[/IMG
Then all you do is send it in the usual manner.

I don't use Photobucket or any of the other sites. I have a contract with a hosting service and publish my photo's on my own website, it's less hassle and they are available until I decide to remove them. I can store them in the webspace without public access if necessary. This has the advantage that I can give a whole slide show with one link.

Like this (use F11 full screen):- http://www.erowell.co.uk/HD-album/Harling%20Drove/index.html (http://www.erowell.co.uk/HD-album/Harling%20Drove/index.html)

I can post images (thumbnails) direct from my pooter, but when I try to load from photobucket, ie, copying the image code and then pasting it into a4a message, then post, guess what? NO IMAGE grrrrrrr ;)
BTW, I use firefox, does that matter?

I use firefox Tony and have no probs.

A reminder to anyone using Photobucket if you delete a photo in there then you break the link to where it was posted.

If this works, I've just sent it from photobucket using Firefox, not tried it before.
