Straight from the country itself - for 12 people (divi it up for less)

Pavesini biscuits
6 egg yolks
4/5 egg whites
9 spoons sugar
500gr mascarpone
Coffee, espresso with sugar
A little marascino or marsala to add to either the coffee or the mixture
Cocoa powder

Beat the yolks with the sugar, mix well with the mascarpone.  In another bowl beat the whites till it peaks, fold into the yolk and mascarpone mix very carefully.

Soak the biscuits in the coffee and make one layer.  Cover with the creamed mixture, repeat.  Sprinkle the top with cocoa powder and leave in the fridge for 7-8 hours.  Buon appetito!  :P :P :P

Got a ready made 'Baileys' cheese cake from the freezer at ASDA, on offer at £1.50.

To be honest, I thought that it was lovely and compared to the cost of making these things from scratch, good value.
