Hi all,
Have been looking at buying this book just wondered if anyone had read it and if you thought it was any good?
I have notice there are a few different copies is it just they have been re published at different times or is there new info in them? Just that the older publications are cheaper and any thing to save the pennies!
Thanks Lucy
Hi is it the one by Mel Bartholomew.
I have it and although its written intially for an American reading audience, it is full of usefull info that can easily be used over here.
it has lots of info on spacing, crop rotation, companion planting, growing things vertically, instructions on creating/ building useful aids for the vege garden and very well drawn diagrams to explain it all. this winter i have reread it so as to have the info up front for this growing season.
also there are lots of instructions on line, spacings, soil, etc :)
Hi yes it is the one by Mel Bartholomew that i was looking at. Might have to get myself a copy then.
Cheers

Check out the Amazon shop at the top right of the page mummy. ;D ;D ;D
Don't forget your local library!!! I've discovered I can search and reserve online, 25p a book, and then they email when i's ready to be collected. It's great, I'm building a list of books worth getting hold of, and have found some that I was thinking of buying, but now prefer others.
Ours is only a small village branch library, but the reserved books were here within a few days.
