Title: What are greens?
Post by: Doris_Pinks on January 21, 2009, 22:37:59
Was wondering as I have been buying them lots lately, what plant are they actually?
They do not look like a cabbage or a kale, so are they a specific plant?
Might need to grow some for next year!
Thanks

Generally unhearted up pointed cabbage or collards which is virtually the same thing.

When I was younger, adults would say "eat up your greens" :)think this was just a generic term for all green veg.

I still think cabbage. :)
