Title: Hares
Post by: Suzanne on January 18, 2009, 21:54:10
Took a long walk today, and have the blisters to show for it. But on my walk saw about 6 hares in a field, they caught sight of me and scarpered, can't really blame them. But I thought it was a bit early for hares to gather together - I thought they were solitary unlike rabbits and only came together at mating time in the Spring. Would be grateful if anyone can pass on a bit of hare knowledge.

If you interested in hares, get this book!! I own a copy (and have read it) it's full of stuff you don't find in todays books. ( you'll get addicted to george ewart evans, he wrote some faboulous books, filled a large space on my bookshelf) ;)
