Severn Trent farms doing there bit to help the local birds,taken yesterday on a walk along the river Trent to Gunthorpe bridge,

i can't quite see, are they sunflowers? if so cool. :)

Yes, down one side of every field i came to was a 6ft band of sunflowers.

are the heads all spent or were you able to spot any birds enjoying the bounty.

sunflowers are usually planted as cover and food for pheasants, is it on a shooting estate / farm? ;)
