Hi all,

what a couple of days, BUT i can now say when Gloria's funeral will be, 22/01/09 at 2pm

I hope all goes well. Thinking of you and wishing you comfort in the meantime. There is always a sense of being in "limbo" before a funeral has taken place. Afterwards you can be at peace, knowing you have said goodbye, and beginning the long road forward.

I like to remember a bit of a verse of Robert Bridges:

Since to be loved endures, to love is wise.

I am so shocked Wingygale, I read your initial posts about your wifes illness but seem to have missed the bit inbetween so was horrified to read this thread.

I can only begin to imagine the sense of loss that you are feeling now.

Thank you everybody for your kind words,
the day went aswell as it could,
Gloria had a good turn out of family and friends,
we held up as best as we could, untill mario lanza sang " i walk with God"

it's nice to know your all there, i really helps,
