Does anyone have any cuttings to spare of VARIGATED Ivy please.
Thank you Rosebud. ;D
how many do you want, rosebud, I can hack lots off mine, needs trimming ;D
Same here, don't know much about taking cuttings but I would be happy to send you some of mine it has a fairly large leaf.
yES PLEASE TO BOTH , Oppps i would like some of the large leaf one.
We have a rather large & wide fence at the rear of the garden i would like to cover so about 6/8 of each would be great Thank you.
No probs Rosebud, any advise on taking the cuttings would be greatly received.
It is growing up a wooden fence so there is quite a bit with rootlets on, I am guessing these would be helpfull when you pot them ???
Also what the best way to package them ::)
More than willing to do it but just a few pointers needed ;D
Hiya 37, thank you, when i send anything out for peeps i usually get a small water bottle, you know the hand held size, cut a slit in the middle pop in plants sellotape it up also the top so it dosent come undone,
Name & addy & pop in the post, no need to wrap Ivy in moist tissue if you could just soak it for a couple of hours it will be fine i shall PM my addy OK thanks again.

Thank you Manics & 137, for the Ivy, neither of you gave me your addy , i would like to send you some seeds or something in return please.
rosebud, pop some change in the next charity box you see :)
Rosebud, ivy is the easiest peasiest thing to take cuttings from if you want to keep getting more, to get that fence covered. Just snip it where it's not too green and not too woody (is that called a softwood cutting?), stick it in a pot of water, and roots will emerge.
Thank you Helen very much, will do that. ;D
