When did you last water your garden or allotment? (not including greenhouses and polytunnels, obviously!)
I'm really missing watering mine. I love spending a good half hour in the evening chatting with my plants and seeing how they are doing as I give them a drink!
I watered my tomatoes yesterday, but they were already fairly moist. I only really did it to feed them.

I'm going to do mine tonight -I seeded one bed with green manure yesterday.
I go on holiday it rains, I sow seeds it stops. Someone is trying to tell me something.

came in from watering just now to read this! first time in quite a while though, and it was just some one year old stuff in pots, nothing more.
I can't remember the last time I had to water the whole garden. And it is still damp - we had rain yesterday. I can't remember the last time the water butt wasn't full either. We have better weather expected for the next few days but rain is still due at the end of the week. Ho hum... Perhaps I should sell off the watering cans and the hose.....
